Summer Concerts 2024
Another successful summer season taking light classical music to outdoor venues around the Marlow area. This year’s programme featured some works performed over the orchestra’s relatively brief history as part of our 10 year anniversary celebrations. A windy Gossmore Park caused some challenges in particular for the Cellos and Double Basses but the weather was largely kind over the 3 performances.
Previous Concert – 20th April 2024
This was the first concert in our 10th anniversary year, featuring :
- Mussorgsky orch. Ravel: Pictures at an Exhibition
- Rachmaninoff: Rhapsody on a Theme of Paganini
As is becoming traditional for our spring concert, this featured a young soloist from the local area – Firoze Madon – a piano finalist in the BBC Young Musician of the Year in 2022. And the full house at All Saints Church in Marlow were treated to a very special performance

Players Needed – No Audition!
We welcome all players if there is space in a section – at the moment we are particularly keen to find players of the following instruments:
- Violin
- Viola
- Percussion
- Cello
- Trombone
